Fremont, CA, USA – May 19, 2026 – Thornova Solar is proud to announce that its Tangra M PRO 575-595W N-Type bifacial dual-glass modules have achieved Top Performer status in all seven reliability test categories evaluated by Kiwa PVEL as part of the internationally recognized PV Module Reliability Scorecard program. In addition, the same module platform successfully passed Kiwa PVEL’s enhanced 40 mm Hail Stress Sequence (HSS) test, further validating the module’s resilience under increasingly extreme weather conditions.

The Tangra M PRO 575-595W modules demonstrated exceptional performance throughout Kiwa PVEL’s Product Qualification Program (PQP), including Thermal Cycling, Damp Heat, Mechanical Stress Sequence, Humidity Freeze, PID, LID + LETID, and UV-induced degradation testing.

By achieving Top Performer recognition in every evaluated category, the Tangra M PRO 575-595W modules join a select group of products recognized for outstanding reliability under some of the industry’s most demanding testing conditions.

In addition, the same module platform successfully passed Kiwa PVEL’s enhanced 40 mm Hail Stress Sequence (HSS) test, designed to evaluate module durability against severe hail impacts exceeding standard IEC requirements. The test subjects modules to high-energy impacts from 40 mm laboratory-manufactured ice balls traveling at terminal velocity to assess resistance against glass breakage, cell cracking, and long-term power degradation.

The Tangra M PRO 575-595W modules combine advanced N-Type TOPCon cell technology with a robust bifacial dual-glass design, delivering high energy yield, strong mechanical resilience, and long-term durability for utility-scale and commercial & industrial solar projects.

“We are extremely proud to see our Tangra M PRO 575-595W modules recognized as a Top Performer across all seven Kiwa PVEL reliability categories while also successfully completing the enhanced 40 mm hail test,” said Andrea Bodenhagen, Global Branding Director at Thornova Solar. “These independent test results are particularly important for customers in regions exposed to severe weather events. They validate the strength of our engineering, manufacturing quality, and material selection and demonstrate our commitment to delivering modules that perform reliably for 30 years.”

“Congratulations to Thornova Solar on achieving Top Performer status across all seven evaluated reliability categories,” said Tristan Erion-Lorico, VP of Sales and Marketing at Kiwa PVEL. “The additional successful completion of the enhanced hail stress testing further highlights Thornova Solar’s commitment to delivering durable, high-quality PV modules capable of performing under challenging environmental conditions.”

Kiwa PVEL’s PV Module Reliability Scorecard is one of the solar industry’s most recognized independent benchmarking programs, helping developers, EPCs, and investors identify PV modules capable of maintaining strong long-term field performance under real-world conditions.
