Thornova Solar Continues Its Tier 1 Recognition in BloombergNEF’s Q3 2026 List

August 24, 2026

Continued inclusion reflects Thornova Solar’s growing track record in the global utility-scale market and its commitment to delivering bankable solar solutions.

Fremont, CA, USA, 20. August 2026 – Thornova Solar has again been included in BloombergNEF’s (BNEF) Tier 1 list of solar module manufacturers, maintaining its Tier 1 status in the Q3 2026 edition.

The continued recognition comes as Thornova Solar expands its presence in key solar markets and builds on its track record of supplying projects where long-term performance, reliability, and financing confidence are critical. For developers, EPCs, IPPs, and investors, the ability to select modules from manufacturers with an established record in bank-financed projects remains an important consideration in project development and procurement.

BloombergNEF’s Tier 1 methodology is based primarily on evidence that a manufacturer’s modules have been used in projects financed on a non-recourse basis by commercial banks. As a result, the classification is widely used throughout the industry as one indicator of a manufacturer’s acceptance by financial institutions and its experience in the utility-scale market.

“Our continued Tier 1 recognition reflects the confidence that customers, developers, and financial institutions place in Thornova Solar. As we expand our presence in the U.S. and other key markets, we remain focused on combining high-efficiency technology with the quality, reliability, and supply assurance our customers need for long-term project success,” said Andrea Bodenhagen, Global Marketing Director of Thornova Solar.

Thornova Solar combines global manufacturing expertise with an expanding footprint in the United States and international markets. The company continues to invest in advanced N-type solar technology and manufacturing capabilities designed to meet the requirements of large-scale solar projects, where module performance, quality consistency, supply reliability, and bankability all play an important role.

The company’s continued inclusion in the Q3 2026 Tier 1 list represents another step in Thornova Solar’s broader strategy to strengthen its position as a long-term partner to the global solar industry. As the market continues to evolve, Thornova remains focused on supporting customers with high-efficiency products, reliable delivery, and the confidence needed to move solar projects from development through financing and operation.
